Cleaning tear stains and facial crusts around a pet’s eyes requires careful handling. This gentle facial and eye comb is designed for this delicate task. Only the length of an adult’s index finger, with a comb head about 2cm wide, it can easily reach into narrow areas such as the corners of the eyes, sides of the nose, and around the lips. The comb teeth are made of 304 stainless steel, but the tips are specially heat-treated beads—each tooth tip is a smooth sphere, preventing scratches even when directly contacting the eyelids or nasal mucosa. The 0.5mm spacing between the teeth is very fine, effectively catching dried tear stains, food debris, and dander. It is recommended to soften the crusts with warm water or pet-specific tear stain wipes first, then gently comb along the direction of fur growth; stubborn crusts will gradually fall off. The non-slip handle is made of soft rubber, so it won’t slip even with wet hands. Just one minute of daily cleaning will prevent reddish-brown tear stains from appearing around the eyes of your white-haired pet. This comb can also be used to clean a cat’s black chin (folliculitis). Apply a small amount of chlorhexidine solution and gently brush away the black particles. It’s compact and can fit in a carry-on pet carrier.
